RETROFIT KITS

Initial components and Current pendent:
2-150 Deg Wire
4-150 Deg Wire Nuts
1-New Junction Box
2-Junction Box Mtg Screws
1-New Strain Relief |

Remove reflector by unscrewing black
screws on reflector.
Do not unscrew socket screws. |
 |
Cut existing wire nuts off of wires and
wire tie new 150Deg
wire to socket wires. |
 |
Remove ground lug from pendent. |
 |
Cut off any exposed or deteriorated wire
from power cord. If necessary
remove some of the black outer jacket. Put power cord through new junction
box and squeeze strain relief into hole using pliers. |
 |
Wire tie each of the new 150 degree wires
in new junction box to either the white or black wires. Attach green wire back
to inside housing.(Deteriorated green wire is acceptable, this will improve the
grounding connection to the housing)
or use new green wire provided. |

Screw new junction box onto pendent using
new nuts provided. |
 |
Reinstall reflector and glass making sure
that wires
are not directly under pendent hanging mount nuts |
